analysis of everybody has his burden by raquel limbadan

Analysis:
This folktale is a story that has no author who was recognized because it was preserved through oral transmission. Where, the grown up told their youngsters about this story and the youngsters told the story to the next generations until writing was discovered and now we are able to read it in written form.
Have you ever wonder why this story has its title? Well it is obvious that whenever we have made something, it’s surely our objective is to get the attention of the audience and make our craft effective. We could say that it is effective if we impart learning to our readers that will somehow give lessons that will change their negative outlooks in life.
However, it sometimes puzzles us why for all the things on earth, why mango tree was used in the story to symbolize the humans complains in life. We should not think it in a literal way because it is an art of writing that will make our works more understandable and more influential but had given great implications in our lives.
It was discussed in the story the burdens carried by each part of the mango tree and it’s a reflection to us human that we are also complaining about our present lives and sometimes we do not think about the feelings of others. Yes it is true that each of us has burdens in life because human as we are, we are prone to that.
The mango is a plant which produced fruits and even gave shade for those who work under the heat of the sun and in this picture we could see that it is producing to help for progress. A mango tree symbolizes that each of us should utilize of lives in a way that we could help for the progress and that we are productive citizens in this country and in this world.
Our lives here are only temporary and so we must make the best out of this chance. We have to contribute for the progress and be a producer of good fruits someday.
